DIY Project Completion...well almost...

Our DIY project that was slated to finish in two weekends, three tops, stretched to months...I didn't even want to count anymore because it would just frustrate me.  My "contractor" a.k.a. hubby, had quite a relaxed work ethic when it came to our project...but I am thrilled to announce that it has finally been completed!  Well, for the most part...there are few finishing touches that needs to be made, but we are all moved in to our "place."  We just basically closed off a section of the huge living room...and now our daughter Parris is enjoying her space, away from her little sister.  She's very happy...

A DIY Project

In mid October, my husband began a DIY project with the help of his good friend.  This project was supposed to take two weekends, max!  Well, as I type today, it is NOT done...and I actually started to help him with some of it.  On Saturday, I wake up to find him watching football instead of "working" and I decided to give him a hand...well guess what?  A job that he had been putting off for some time, took me less than two hours to finish!

Let's see what happens this weekend...because I might just finish everything on my own...

Hello twenty eleven!

The first day of the year was actually quite ordinary...I went about my normal daily grind, but it also happens to be my baby Paige's birthday, and today, she turned 2.  Although it was an ordinary day, I am determined to look at things differently going forward...more positive than negative...looking at the ordinary and finding the extra-ordinary...taking things with a grain of salt.  The last one, being the most challenging for me, but I am determined!  As good as 2010 was for me, I WILL make 2011 even better!  Cheers to a prosperous and blessed new year!!!  And more importantly...HAPPY 2nd BIRTHDAY PAIGE GABRIELLA!!!
